About
Born on 30 March 1970 in Kızılcahamam, Süleyman Acar completed his primary and secondary education in Kızılcahamam. He began high school at Çamlıdere Imam Hatip High School and completed it at Ankara Tevfik İleri Imam Hatip High School.
A graduate of the Department of Public Finance at the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, Uludağ University, Süleyman Acar is a certified public accountant (financial advisor).
From 1994 to 1999, he served as accounting manager at Kızılcahamam Geothermal Inc., affiliated with the Kızılcahamam Municipality. In 1999, he opened his own financial advisory office and started working as a freelance professional.
In 2013, Süleyman Acar received the title of independent auditor from the Public Oversight Authority.
In the local elections of 31 March 2019, he was elected Mayor of Kızılcahamam. After a five-year term, he was elected Mayor of Kızılcahamam again in the local elections of 31 March 2024.
He is married and the father of two children.
