Seher Akyol

Since 2020, Seher Akyol has served as the founder and volunteer leader of marine and coastal ecosystem conservation initiatives at the DEKAFOK Coastal Protection Association. Alongside scientific data collection conducted through academic partnerships, she has spearheaded joint protocols with national and international institutions to combat coastal pollution and foster environmental awareness among youth. Her projects advocating for sustainable marine life have earned her numerous regional and national awards, as well as features in international documentary productions.
