Marine Life Conservation Society (DYKD)
Gizem Ece serves as Director of Corporate Relations and Partnerships at the Marine Life Conservation Society (DYKD), where she manages the organisation’s private sector partnerships and its corporate resource development strategy. Through multi-year partnerships with companies in banking, ports and logistics, and retail and consumer goods, she secures sustainable funding for coral restoration, ghost net clean-up, sea rangers and protected marine areas. She develops partnership models that turn companies’ support for the seas from one-off donations into measurable, long-term investment.
She also coordinates corporate partnerships for Valmira, a venture that upcycles ghost nets recovered from the sea. She organises DYKD’s participation and programme at international platforms including COP31 and boot Düsseldorf. Previously, she gained more than 14 years of experience in corporate volunteering and CSR at the Private Sector Volunteers Association (ÖSGD) and the Community Volunteers Foundation (TOG). She completed her master’s degree in Public Relations and Corporate Communication at Istanbul Bilgi University.
