Furkan Ak

Furkan Ak, the legal representative and co-founder of the organization, is a mechanical engineer and accomplished trainer with a wide-ranging portfolio in youth empowerment and Erasmus+ projects. He brings exceptional problem-solving, analytical thinking, and organizational skills to every initiative. Furkan has designed and facilitated numerous training sessions and workshops on topics including recycling, environmental sustainability, outdoor sports, climate change, health, technology, and intercultural understanding on religions. He can speak English and Turkish fluently, beginner level in German.

He trained as a mechanical engineer at a top-tier faculty and graduated in 2023. His first role was in the defense industry, where he was a design engineer on high-precision mechanical systems, a field with no room for approximation. In 2024 he stepped away to build something of his own. Along the way he has travelled through 43 countries and led youth initiatives across borders, which shaped how he thinks about people, space and taste. Those threads came together in Kraufn, a company that pairs hardware with tailored sensory experiences.

His focus is custom installations for elite hospitality, executive hubs and luxury wellness venues. Kraufn Ruby, the company’s debut piece, rethinks how fragrance is applied: a cold-vapor ritual housed in a sculptural object. Everything about it, from its proportions to its response to touch, follows a single rule: it should feel effortless and perform flawlessly.
